Holistic nutrition looks at more than what is on your plate. It considers how your meals, sleep, stress, energy, digestion and daily routines work together, and how small, realistic changes across those areas can help you feel better. At Priority One Osteo & Wellness, our holistic nutrition consultations in Burlington give you personalized education and lifestyle support, not another restrictive diet to follow for three weeks and then abandon.
What holistic nutrition is
Holistic nutrition is an individualized approach to food and lifestyle. Instead of counting calories or isolating single nutrients, your practitioner looks at the whole picture: your current eating habits, meal timing, hydration, sleep, activity level, stress load and your relationship with food. From there, you work together on habits that fit your actual life. The goal is not a perfect diet. It is a set of changes you can keep. What a consultation looks like
Your first appointment starts with a conversation about you. Your practitioner asks about your routines, your challenges, what you have already tried and what you want to change. You leave with practical recommendations you can add gradually: eating breakfast consistently, adding protein or fibre, drinking more water, preparing meals ahead, building a calmer evening routine. Recommendations are individualized to your goals rather than pulled from a generic plan. Why people book holistic nutrition
You do not need a specific health concern to benefit. People come to us because their energy, digestion or sleep has shifted, because they want to eat better without a rigid plan, or because a busy season has pulled their habits off track. Common reasons include:- Low energy and fatigue
- Digestive comfort, bloating and irregular eating patterns
- Building balanced, consistent eating habits
- Meal planning and everyday food choices
- Support with healthy-weight goals
- Women’s wellness and healthy aging
- Eating well through a demanding schedule
Part of a multidisciplinary clinic
Nutrition is one piece of a larger picture. You can eat well and still feel depleted if you are consistently stressed, sleeping poorly or skipping meals, so a holistic approach also looks at stress, sleep, movement and hydration. At Priority One you have manual osteopathy, naturopathy, massage therapy, counselling and more under one roof, so your care can connect. Holistic nutrition can also be combined with complementary services such as iridology and BIE for a more individualized wellness experience. When it is the right call, we also encourage you to work alongside your physician, naturopathic doctor or a registered dietitian. Holistic nutrition provides education and lifestyle support. It does not replace medical care, diagnostic testing, or individualized medical nutrition therapy when those are required.Your practitioner
Holistic nutrition consultations are with Samantha Coffa, a Certified Nutritional Practitioner (CNP) trained at the Institute of Holistic Nutrition. Samantha also offers iridology and BIE, so your nutrition work can connect with those if you choose.Pricing
